Barb and Mike Peat were our tour guides. They hail from Frankston in Victoria and have been accompanying tours for the last 15-20 years. They have been together for the last 6 years. They make a formidable team.
During the dry season they make the run from Broome to Darwin and back again, having a 4 day break at the end of each complete run. In September they return south and work the Kangaroo Island and Tasmania runs until January, when they have a break before returning north again during April.
Tour guides can make or break a holiday. These guys were top notch.
